1) Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Barracks Media. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3) Services; Orders & Payments

Certain services may be offered for a fee (one-time or subscription). Prices, features, and availability are subject to change. Taxes may apply. By placing an order, you authorize us and our payments partner (Stripe) to charge your payment method.

Refunds are handled per the package’s stated policy. If no policy is stated, refunds are at our discretion as permitted by law.

4) Podcast Approval & Content Standards

All podcasts must be approved by Barracks Media before being listed in the directory, participating in profit sharing, or accessing related features. As part of this review, we verify that your show complies with our content standards. Shows that promote pornography, hate, or illegal activity are not eligible. We may request additional information during review and may refuse, suspend, or revoke approval at our discretion to protect our users and the service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove, delist, or disable any podcast, episode, profile, or related content that violates these Terms or our content standards, with or without prior notice.

This review is for policy compliance and safety; it does not mean we endorse or assume responsibility for your content.

5) User Content & Licenses

You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, messages, media). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service.

You represent you have all rights needed for content you upload and that it does not infringe, violate law, or contain harmful code.

6) Acceptable Use

• No illegal, infringing, harassing, or hateful activity.
• No pornography or sexually explicit content that violates our policy.
• No spam, scraping, or attempts to bypass security or rate limits.
• No uploading malware or attempting to disrupt the service.

7) Intellectual Property

Barracks Media and its logos, designs, and software are our or our licensors’ property and may not be used without permission.

8) Third-Party Services

We may integrate third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Supabase). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BARRACKS MEDIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Barracks Media from claims arising out of your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or to protect the service or its users. We may remove or disable access to any podcast, profile, message, or content that we believe violates these Terms or our content standards, in whole or in part, at any time and at our sole discretion.

You may stop using the service at any time.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Tennessee will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll change the “Effective date” above and, if changes are material, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
